About Us

Joseph is the Reference Librarian Manager and University Archivist at Purdue University Northwest. Joe is responsible for the day-to-day library operations of the reference department, the University Archives and Special Collections. A native of Hammond, Indiana, Joseph has lived in the Calumet Region for 40 years. He received his Bachelor of General Studies from Indiana University Northwest, and Master of Science in Library Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Danielle Nowak, a Cedar Lake native, is a Digital Assets Librarian. Danielle is responsible for managing a growing collection of digital resources available through a physical archive and digital collection management system. She received her MLS from IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana and her BA in History from Purdue University Northwest in Hammond, Indiana.
